I'm Rebecca Josiah Adenike, a medical doctor passionate about medicine, curious about technology, and always looking for a better way to do things.
This is The MedicTechGirl — my corner of the internet for sharing how I study, the AI tools I try, what I'm learning, and the things I create along the way.
Medicine, technology, learning, creativity, and innovation: this is where they come together.
At the intersection of medicine, technology, learning, and innovation
I'm a medical doctor by training. I studied Medicine and Surgery at Igbinedion University, Okada, from 2019 to 2026. Medicine is a big part of my life, but not the only part.
I love taking something complicated or disorganised and making it simpler, more structured, and easier to use. That curiosity pulls me towards technology, programming, animation, design, and building things of my own.
I'm also interested in public health, especially in Nigeria and across Africa, where access to information doesn't always lead to understanding or informed action.
I'm still learning, experimenting, and figuring things out, and I want to share that process honestly, not just the finished, polished results.
Every stage of learning shapes the person and professional I'm becoming.
My academic journey is an important part of my story. As a medical doctor, I value continuous learning, critical thinking, and the discipline it takes to keep growing. This space documents my educational journey, experiences, milestones, and the lessons that continue to shape my approach to medicine and life.
I'm committed to deepening my knowledge, strengthening my skills, and exploring opportunities that align with my interests in public health, health systems, and health informatics. I'm interested in how continued learning can help me contribute meaningfully to healthcare in African settings.
I'm interested in the possibilities that emerge when medical knowledge meets thoughtful technology.
Medicine is more than a profession; it is a field that calls for curiosity, compassion, continuous learning, and a commitment to people. I'm interested in the many ways we can make healthcare knowledge more accessible and improve how people engage with health and learning.
I believe technology can create useful tools that help people learn, organize information, and approach everyday challenges differently. I'm particularly interested in digital health, practical tools for medical learning, and ideas that connect healthcare with better user experiences.
Practical study systems, learning strategies, Anki, and digital note-taking to make studying more organised and effective.
AI, apps, digital tools, automation, prompts, and workflows that simplify everyday tasks, especially for students and doctors.
Medical and public health information worth understanding beyond knowing the names of diseases.
The human side of medicine, and life outside the hospital.
Personal thoughts, interests, and ideas that don't fit a neat category.
Templates, guides, and tools you can apply to your own life.
I'm interested in exploring ideas that bring together medicine, technology, communication, and human-centred design. This is where I'll share projects, experiments, lessons, and new directions as they develop.
I turn ideas into thoughtful visual experiences through graphic design, branding, and digital storytelling.
Becksdesignsz is my creative space — where I explore visual communication, help ideas find their form, and create designs that connect with people.
